Oh What Joy was started by two friends who love the country life, hard work and seeing ideas become a reality. Kim and Johannah find JOY in the search for vintage items that they know can be restored into something beautiful. K & J love details and want to make sure that nothing goes unnoticed. They know that events such as weddings, showers and other special days worth celebrating are often filled with tradition. Through an eye for detail and love for unique items, they can help transform your day into one that enhances those traditions as well as finds the JOY in the legacy of generations represented. K & J find great JOY in styling events and weddings for clients and brides.
Kim was married to her favorite farmer, Nick, in May of 2014. She is a graduate of Fresno State University, where she majored in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in special events. When Kim isn't searching through piles of antiques in search of that item that she just can't live without, painting or refurbishing an item, she is often found with her pup Posey. For the past four years, she has served as the venue coordinator for Peoples Church Weddings.
With a backstage perspective, Kim's favorite wedding moments are being able to see a brides face as she anticipates seeing her groom & watching a reception come to life when guests arrive and fill a space with great JOY.
